What is subjectId?
This is a unique ID given by Devinco Connect to reference a specific user. This user should have been given access to one or several clients.
What is clientId?
In Devinco Connect, clientId is referring to what application we want to connect with. ViaTracks is set up as clientId=13.
What is apiKey?
apiKey is used to identify a user for a specific client (application) in Devinco Connect when requesting a token.
What are the transaction fees for using the API?
Using ViaTracks API requires «Integration Enabled» to be set for the relevant customer / department. This triggers monthly additional cost for each tracker that is enabled for the integration. There is no extra cost per transaction.
Does the API support webhooks?
No, the ViaTracks API does not provide any webhooks.
Does the API have throttling?
Yes, the ViaTracks API uses throttling to make sure one user does not overload the system.
